What is the difference between an OPG and a CBCT
An OPG is a two-dimensional overview useful for screening, orthodontic planning, and wisdom tooth assessment. A CBCT is a three-dimensional scan used when precise measurements and spatial relationships are required for implants, complex endodontics, surgery, airway, or TMJ studies.
How long will my appointment take
Most appointments take around ten minutes door to door. The actual exposure time is very short—seconds for CBCT and under a minute for OPG.
Are the scans safe
Yes. We use low-dose protocols and prescribe imaging only when it adds meaningful information that will influence your treatment plan. Protective measures are used during every exposure.
Can children be scanned
